My wife and I stayed at the Saint Moritz for five days. The facility and rooms were very clean and well maintained. Our room had a small kitchenette with everything you need including dishes, silverware, glasses and even a corkscrew. When we checked in the staff was very friendly and welcoming. And the owner, who lives nearby, was also there. There is a nice (and heated) swimming pool and a very clean steam room. Each morning, before your daily hike, we enjoyed a very good, and healthy breakfast in a very comfortable dining area. There was coffee served in the lobby each morning at 6 AM. There was a happy hour each afternoon at 4:30. There is also a BBQ grill that the owner lights up in the evening, if you want to cook your own meal and eat in your room. Dining out in Aspen is expensive! We truly enjoyed our stay and have absolutely no complaints. We would definitely stay there again, without hesitation.

OMG!! This place is like walking into an old-school family hotel that opens their arms wide and sucks you right in. We. Loved. It! The rooms are a little dated, but well maintained and some appointments are definitely new (bathroom was newly remodeled). Play all day in Aspen and beyond, then relax in the heated pool with jacuzzi jets and free happy-hour wine before your dinner destination. It's not right downtown, but the walk is easy and gives you a chance to see what the locals are like. They bike like Europe, so pay attention to that. We made food in the kitchenette and the fridge helps keep your visit costs down. We would stay here anytime, summer or winter!!

Clarissa, the manager was a gem ! She was friendly and accommodating!! The lobby and grounds are lovely, and very comfortable. We stayed in the dorm twin bed rooms on the top floor. The bed was quite comfortable. Bathroom was shared, aged but clean. Some of the rooms had a larger window than others, which made it cooler on warm summer nights. I'd ask for one of those! The bathroom does get busy in the morning, can be a wait for the (2) toilets. The location is superb! Two blocks to the (free) bus stop, and four blocks to the center of town!

All of the above--plus the great location in a quiet neighborhood, easy walking distance from great public transport and from all the action downtown. The staff was truly above and beyond: so welcoming, so kind, so helpful--truly a lovely group of people. Our room was awesome. I loved that we could open our windows for fresh air, that there was a desk to work on my computer--not to mention the cozy decor and the adorable tapestry of the hotel on the wall. And then there were the cookies and the wine . . . I didn't want to leave.

The mountainside view from pool and patio was nice, better than being stuck in the middle of the town listening to traffic. Tom was very helpful during our stay, giving us great pointers on where/what to do and always greets with a smile. The bathroom was clean and well stocked with amenities. The breakfast had fresh fruit, meat, cheese, and enough other items to satisfy a picky eater. The warm fireplace was a perfect spot to relax during après happy hour.
